Yes by simply massaging the wound at
least once a day for at least 5 minutes,
the scars will soften and mature

The
procedure
Any
scar from previous injury, surgery or
trauma will be excised and repaired with
monofilament sutures to minimise the
inflammatory response. The wound is then
occluded and you are given pain control,
and the wound inspected at 5-7 days
The
result
After the
scar has stabilised the triple therapy
scar programme is initiated and reviewed
at 6 weeks and by 3 months the scars
will be thin and soft.
This is to monitor the progress to make
sure that other adjunctive modalities
such as LED phototherapy, laser or even
corticosteroid injections are not
required.
Initially the incision line will appear
red. However with time this will mature,
fade and become barely noticeable.
You may be surprised to know that Mother
